Stay or Go?

I'm very conflicted right now. Mom just came into the room and told me that she wants to go to Boston for New Years. And I realized, that I really want to go too. I want to see where my Grandpa grew up, and meet his family, and go up there and see the snow and just hang out and have a good time. My Grandpa is SO important to me, and I want to see

I think that's sweet that Jake wants to spend NYE with you... but he can't guilt you into spending the holiday with him like that! Because, it seems that that is what he's doing... Do what YOU want... I think it'd be super cool to go to Boston, especially with your G-pa. You never know when you're going to lose someone... and that would be really, really awesome for him to show you around his old home-town... But that's just my opinion... Either way, have MUCHO fun!!!

I think you should totally go! I know that it would be cool to spend New Years with us, but going to Boston isn't something that you can do just any old time. Ofcourse we all would miss you, but there will be other New Years-we always hang out anyway. And I completely agree with darkimpulse89 (sorry, I can't remember if that's Chelle, or what) about it seeming like Jake is trying to guilt trip you into staying in AZ. This is something that you've wanted to do for a really long time, and if you go I would be super happy for you, and not all bitter or upset- I'm sure that Hal would agree. All I'm saying do what you want to do, and don't let anyone guilt you into staying...I would go!

I so totally think you should go to boston. That is NOT some piddly ass thing you can do any old time!!!! Go and have fun. Tell Jake he needs to respect your decision, because this is something that you've wanted to do for awhile. If he truly cares, he'll wait.

awwww i say go to ny and visit me. lol just joshing. i could try to talk my parental units into letting me go to boston for new years too har... i say go to boston, because well the oppurtunity isn't going to rise very often, and new years isn't too important i don't think. i mean, i don't think jake should get mad over that because he got you for christmas. i think. har i got to talk to you on christmas yayyy go me. lol anyways... i dunno do what you think is best reeba. <33
