Hello, Yuletide writer! I'm not on LJ much anymore (I've migrated to Tumblr), but I wouldn't miss Yuletide for the world. Thank you for signing up for these fandoms! Here are my requests, for easy access, as well as some general information about what I do and don't like.
Natsume's Book of Friends
What if one (or more) of Natsume's previous foster families decided he was mentally ill and in need of treatment? Therapy, drugs, even a stay in a mental hospital; maybe he starts to wonder if they're right. Of course, eventually they give up and shuttle him off to the next family, but for a while he has to deal with a whole new kind of misery. Bonus if the Fujiwaras know but don't care. Please don't be dismissive of actual mental illness or the people who try to treat it, though.
Dangan Ronpa
If you signed up to write Mukuro, you've probably read Dangan Ronpa IF, but if you haven't, you probably should--I was going to say "just Google around, you'll find it", but, uh, seems like it's been taken down now from the site that had it all translated, so here's a download link on MediaFire for a PDF. Or apparently you get it after the end of DR2? Anyway, my actual prompt: anything with Mukuro and Naegi pre-game, seriously, I'm not picky. When did she develop a crush on him? Was he really completely oblivious to it? Did any of the other characters notice, especially Junko? I haven't gotten past where the LP stopped for DR2 (the beginning of the trial in Chapter 3, I think), so please no spoilers for that.
Ib
What if there was a way to bring both Garry and Mary into the real world? Would she still have replaced everyone's memories to make her Ib's sister? If so, would Ib and Garry still remember each other? (Ideally, yes, but it'd also be interesting to see what would happen if they didn't.) I'd love to see how Mary fits into a completely foreign world. Please no Garry/Ib in a romantic or sexual sense.
THINGS IN GENERAL: I am super-big on friendship and family and chosen family and basically everything to do with people connecting with each other in positive (if not necessarily healthy) ways! I am not big on these people being upset at each other. I have an embarrassment squick a mile wide. I like my female characters with agency.
But most of all, have fun! Honestly I am not all that picky about the optional details; there's little enough fic for any of these that adding anything at all is good. Happy Yuletide!
