Dramatic new art
I won a piece of art at an auction this weekend. It is dramatic and it makes me smile. Jack likes it a lot, too. You can't tell from the picture but the Uncle Sam and the indian are cutouts and there is four inches between them and the background of green. I really like the shadow effect it creates. The moment where you were taking the bidding number out of my hand is frozen in time for me. This was probably the first auction in a good while that I left not filled with regret. This can be due to buying, (or worse) NOT buying, or having wasted my time previewing and waiting: Bliss. The lack of additional auction fees makes it even sweeter.
The painting looks good right there. My table looks good, too.
