In surgery

Mar 25, 2008 08:08

Ian is in surgery. I have a mix of emotions, right now I am excited. Glad we are getting this done finally. April 2 he will get the equipment turned on and he will really hear for the first time. This process has definately helped me grow.

All these things can be scary, though. It's gonna be good, mama. The moment the world turns "on" for him is going to be so wonderful.

Also, I am here all day, pretty much every day. Any old time you need somebody to watch Ian or Craig (is that the li'un's name?), please keep me in mind. We love having kiddos over to play.

I have been thinking about getting together with you. Towards the end of my pregnancy I got so tired I couldn't imagine leaving the house, even if it meant getting help with Ian. Hope to see you soon.

I can only imagine how much thought, care and emotion you've put into getting to this place. Hope the day goes quickly and smoothly, that facility takes such good care of families.

Thanks! Thanks for the pictures as well. I am going to put the link up on my journal. They all came out so well. #2 is our favorite that we would like the 8x10 of. Is there a way to get them all in digital format so we can print some of our own?

Sure, if you'll send me your mailing address I'll burn a CD for you.

#2 is really sweet. Are you comfortable with me posting some of these to my blog/website?

xa and i were thinking about you guys a lot yesterday. i think it'll be a huge relief once the surgery is over and you're settled back at home.

we love you guys lots and are right down the street if you need anything including friendly company/errands/etc -- just holler! i know we sure couldn't have gotten through our girls early baby/toddlerhoods without family and friends' support.
