Alternative perspective: You entered into a contract in which the terms were laid out clearly and you agreed to them. Later when the result was not to your liking, you thought through the terms and found that some were disadvantageous to your position. Then you attempted to renegotiate the contract and the other party refused, insisting on having it come to term without revising it. There was no information hidden from you at the time you entered into the contract and neither party breached the contract. If one of the parties was unhappy with the contract, upon completion there was no obligation to continue beyond the agreed upon term.
