That TV janx.

I swear I'm working on some writing. More one-sentence deals. Maybe eventually I'll write a real fic, ha. I'm also working on schoolwork. Also, my mother is in the hospital - but she's coming home (finally!) tomorrow, which is grand. So, while I'm trying to write some things, read the survey that I bet everyone on LiveJournal except me has filled ( Read more... )

Checking your list was way more entertaining than working on my office's new time keeping system. You should definitely check out Veronica Mars or Wonderfalls. :)
I'm glad you're working on new fic! I hope things get better with your mom.

Yeah I have a sort of weird list... it's like old TV (I Love Lucy, The Andy Griffith Show, Happy Days), crime/law/medical/political dramas (Third Watch, the West Wing, Bones), a spattering of science fiction (Star Trek, Star Trek TNG, and, quite obviously, BSG), and then just the random crap that everyone has seen (Friends, Seinfeld, Charmed). I think I saw part of one episode of Veronica Mars, once. I don't I've ever even HEARD of Wonderfalls. I know, I know... lame.

Yep, that new stuff is sitting on a document on my desktop at the moment. Too bad I'm in one of those moods where you hate everything you wear/say/write/read/say/do and your entire life feels inadequate, and thus you are devoid of creativity. =[ Hopefully it'll go away pretty soon.

My mom's actually doing really well. We brought her home this morning, which was a day ahead of what the doctors had originally estimated. So that's cool. =]

Ha don't you love my long-ass comment about NOTHING?

Wonderfalls was quite short lived in the fall of 2003. I sort of remember it distinctly because I had just graduated from college and felt just like Jaye the main character--living a very mediocre existence and not knowing what to do about it. I'm not quite sure I've figured that out yet...but ah well.

I'm sorry you're bummed about life and creating--these things happen. I feel like that now actually. I just finished working on Peril and it's like--now what? I think part of being a writer is being neurotic and always wondering if you're good enough. I think your stuff is great, so I look forward to it when you're done.

Yay for moms! And how do you like my long-ass comment? Teehee!
