I wasn't sure where else to post this so it's going here! First, I love your recipes posted in Food_Porn, don't let them bother you. Second, would you happen to have in your vast knowledge a not so horrible for you cheesecake recipe? It's the requested item for my husband's birthday. Everything I find is 400+ calories and I'd to stay under 250 if possible. Thanks. :)

Hello Hopekillsstars,
I have some wonderful cheesecake recipes for you to choose from. They are:
-- Canyon Ranch's Cheesecake (claim 90 cals/serving but also claim you can make 16 servings from a 9" pie pan) or Cheesecake with Chocolate Crust (130 cals/serving from a 10" springform cake pan)
-- The Junior League of Rochester's Chocolate Cheesecake; Praline Cheesecake; Wine Country Cheesecake (my all time favorite)or Cheesek a l'orange. I know these are very rich but very good. :-)

Hmm. Either the Chocolate Cheesecake or the Cheesecake with Chocolate Crust, both sound really good. The boy loves his chocolate! Which one do you think would be easier to tackle for a first time cheesecake maker?
