Title: I’ll Make You Mine
Pairing: Yamada Ryosuke x FC
Genre: Fluff
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Donne thought she'll lead a perfect school life as the top student and as Kaichou, until Yamada entered her life.
A/N: Yay! I’m back with some OC fic! And it’s a multi-chaptered one. And it’s an English one. And... hmmm... maybe it’s already late, but this is my congratulatory gift to Donne, who became an SK Kagawad of Brgy. New Era last 2010! It really wasn’t supposed to be that way, but since the plot of this story was gotten from the idea of Donne being a politician now (though unintentionally, teehee), I decided to make this a gift. ^_______________^
Anyway...

Donne was hurrying to get to the faculty room. She already fell down the stairs, yet without minding the butt pain like she had an instant anaesthesia, she continued to run almost without looking on her way.
She had bumped into someone but still continued on her way, and without bothering to look back at the person, she shouted a “sorry” and raised a peace sign.
She opened the door with a loud bang as it hit the wall, which caught the attention of all the teachers in the room. Donne was panting; it was just a minute before five o’clock, and she was silently thanking the Lord for getting just in time. “S-sensei... these... are... the papers.” She caught her breath, “... for the school festival. I just... finished... signing... them all.” The teacher reached for the papers and looked at them and at Donne approvingly. “Well then, thanks, Kaichou, we’ll see to this tomorrow, okay?” Donne sighed in relief. “Arigatou, Sensei. Jaa ne~”
--------------------
“Minna, let’s work into this. I, no, the Student Council needs or rather wants all your support. We know that every single person here in this school loves those sakura trees; those trees have been living for three decades already and never failed to give joy and comfort not only to us students, but also to other people who pass that road. We can’t have them removed or cut just like that. Dakara, we are having a petition for your decision on whether you agree or not to the removing of those trees. This is for everyone’s good. I hope you all participate. That’s all, thank you very much for listening.”
The students noisily chattered as Donne stepped off the podium, obviously talking about the serious matter that was just opened to them at the ceremony.
“This is good ne?” the fuku-kaichou spoke to Donne from beside her. “Un,” Donne nodded, “everyone’s actions just now clearly says that we can get the majority’s, if not all, support.
--------------------
Donne was getting excited after each and every minute. It was already a week after they started the petition, and although the results should be released still a little longer because of the school’s somewhat large population, she can’t help but feel nervous, imagingig herself speaking in behalf of all her schoolmates, to those bastard businessmen who are planning to claim the land in which the beloved sakura trees stand. “This will be way too diplomatic but, I’m ready, of course,” Donne thought in her seat in the council room and looked at the window where there”s always a good view of the sakura trees, swaying in the wind.
The moment Donne stepped out of the council room to go home as the clock’s hands struck five in the afternoon, the secretary called out at her from behind. “Kaichou-sama!” the boy was running. “Nani?” Donne asked. He raised an envelope. “The results... are here.” “Eh? Isn’t it a bit too fast?” She smirked at the idea that it became easy to tally them all since everyone would have given their support to the student council.
The Hishou suddenly looked down and avoided the Kaichou’s eyes. “Eh? What’s wrong? Got a problem? Maybe we can solve it, c’mon.” The boy still looked down and now went pale. “Anou, Kaichou...” “What?” “We didn’t get their support. In fact, we haven’t even a single one.”
Donne stared at her subordinate with her mouth gaped open. “W-what?” She laughed. “Goodness! That wasn’t a good joke! You almost got me into it, y’know!” She continued laughing but he still looked down. “I’m very sorry, Kaichou. Those trees would have to be cut down.”
--------------------
“Kaichou-sama, please stop crying now, please calm down. It’s not all the time that people would give us their support,” the fuku tried to console her.
“How would I calm down? What do you think am I crying for? I’m not crying for everyone being so inconsiderate. I’m crying for those trees! Can’t you see? I want those trees there! Staying right where they are! How could they?!” she cried heavily.
“Kaichou-sama was really shocked since yesterday. Even I feel bad about it,” the secretary sympathized.
“Donne-chan, please eat your lunch now,” the fuku-kaichou slash best friend was trying her best to console her. Donne continued to sob. “I can’t. I just can’t.” She had lost all her appetite with what’s happening. “But you haven’t eaten anything since last night. Your mom was so worried that she called me this morning. Now, eat your lunch. That’s an order.”
Donne looked up at her friend who was looking at her with loving eyes, and stared at her lunch just so she could gain even a little appetite. She didn’t want her friend to get mad at her so she tried her best to eat even if her mind was fighting the pleasure of eating.
--------------------
“Anou, Kaichou... we didn’t get their support. In fact, we haven’t even a single one.”
Donne can’t take her mind off the breathtaking topic. She can’t help but feel bad about the 30-year old sakura trees being cut down soon. All she needed was the petition but it even turned her down.
“As the brightest student in this school, I wonder why Donne de Vera-san is ignoring the lesson today.”
But, something must have been going on strangely. It might be true that the majority of the students disagreed on her proposal, but it wasn’t only majority but everyone in the school did except, of course, the student council members who were excluded from the petition.
“Donne de Vera-san!”
Donne was suddenly taken away from her thoughts as the sensei called her with a stern voice. She turned to the teacher. “Hai?”
The teacher shook her head in disappointment because of Donne’s facial expression that seemed like she didn’t worry about her offense. She walked closer to Donne’s seat. “I was wondering why the brightest student AND THE KAICHOU was ignoring my lessons. I don’t think that’s a very good example to everyone around you.” Donne almost frowned at the emphasis of the words. “Hontou ni gomenasai, Sensei.” The teacher raised her eyebrows and started to walk back to the front but she turned to Donne again. “Did you cry?” Donne was startled at the question and noticed that everyone’s eyes were actually at her. At that point, she realized that her eyes were actually feeling heavy because of crying too much.
She wasn’t able to answer the question yet when the teacher had just returned to the front of the class and said, “Okay, I forgive you, that’s your first time anyway.”
It was right after dismissal time that Donne got back to her thoughts. She was walking slowly on her way to the council room, lost in her ideas. She didn’t get a single vote - that fact alone made everything stranger than strangest, she thought it very impossible to happen.
Unless someone had bribed or threatened them all.

A/N: Finally! Whew~ I've waited for ages to renovate my LJ before I can finally post this! AT LAST! Uwaaaaa~ T____T *tears of joy*
So yeah, school days is fast approaching. Summer vacation is just less than a month now, and I'm not yet enrolled. Ugh, it's because the section that I'm targeting to enroll in (because of its schedule) is not yet open. Like hell, the other section still has 4 slots left; it has been open for a month and it isn't still full. My section wouldn't be open for registration yet unless the other section gets filled orz
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed reading this! I'll be posting the next chapter... ^^~
