"Where do you want to go? I'll take you." He hugged her tight and about to lead her toward a corner.

"No thanks, I have a ride." A shy smile occured on her lips.

"Ok, thanks for the drink anyway." He released her and she ran to get a drink from the side bar. As he watched her back, he started to wonder.

"Pretty interesting girl," he said and moved on to rock the party like usual.

--------------------------------------

"Hi :3" she gasped as she saw a text on her phone. A smile broke out on her lips, realizing who the text comes from.

"Uh...hi! Why are you suddenly texting me?" She replied and held her phone close to her chin. All sort of thoughts come into her mind but she dared not to think about them. Her phone gave a little chime and she can no longer hold back the smile.

"Because I'm bored."

Eh?

She covered her mouth to resist a laugh and pressed on the button to reply. Each phone beep meant a lot to her for this is the first time she had a texting conversation with anybody, especially a man.

"Bored is not a reason to text someone." She answered and closed her phone, waiting for his answer.

--------------------------------------

"Hey, do you have aim or msn?" He texted her. It had been a few days since they text on the phone and he really wanted to have a normal conversation with her. The phone beeped and he opened it up to her name.

"I have aim y u ask?" Oh, now he's getting excited. Getting to know another girl is not so bad after all.

"Can I have it?" He texted back and started to think about the possibilities.

Aw, come on. He like talking to her. She's pretty interesting.

He just wanted to know her better. That's all.

Again, the phone rang and he flip it to reply.

"Animegurlinside. Wats urs?" He smiled and then gave her his screen name.

"Bboysynchro12. Get online." He texted back, planning to talk to her later.

--------------------------------------

"Do you have a girlfriend?" They were both on line for a while now, and she's been talking to him. The screen flashed as she put aside all her other works to look at his reply.

"Yes actually. I had a long distance relationship."

"What does that mean?" She typed, honestly didn't know what that means.

"It means I live here and she lives all the way at San Francisco." Oh, of course, she thought. The screen flashed again and she opened to check it out.

"But I'm planning to broke up with her."

"Why?"

"She lives far away and I felt that I couldn't help her when she needs me..."

-------------------------------------

"Did you broke up with her already?" The screen on his aim flashed and right the way, he knew who it is. When he read the message however, he couldn't seemed to believe his eyes.

"How did you now?"

"Yeah, like your message doesn't say it all. I hope you will live happily ever after without me." He crackles. The girl got it fast.

"Yeah, I broke up with her."

"Why? Weren't you guys fine? I mean when I talk to her, you guys were still fine then."

"Everything changed now though. She had a new guy and he was there for her and I was just getting sick of how she would talk about the other guy in front of me." He was heart broke with every single girl he broke up with.

But he doesn't regret that he had done it.

-------------------------------------

The next day was the saddest day of his life, and she could tell when he was sitting alone at the bar.

He wasn't drinking or dancing like usual. She was worry but was sad that she couldn't do anything for him.

When the bar cleared out, she noticed how he was still there.

The man had looked so lonely and sad that she could barely see a light of hope in him.

Desperate, she looked around to see whether his sister would do anything to help him.

Yet his adopted sister did nothing as all she did was leave him alone for she knew he needed some time alone.

But the man looked so sad that it looked like he's going to cry.

Anxiety got the better of this curious girl and she stroll up to him, wrapping her arms around his cold back.

"You'll be fine. I know you will be." She whispered into his ears, with her heart beats loudly against his back.

The girl knew he is strong and can handle it, but she couldn't bare to see his saddening face...

-------------------------------------

When they left the bar and as he was heading home, he noticed a small girl sitting on the side walk.

He stopped the car and come to her, only to realized it was her, the girl who had hugged him in the bar and give him comfort.

She looked like she was about to cry and a thought suddenly occurred in his mind.

Was she crying because of him?

He hesitated for a moment but decided to walk to her anyway.

"What are you doing here still?" She said and he could see tears evidence in her eyes.

"I was just waiting for a friend." He said plainly and was about to walk on when he stopped to look at her.

Now he was sure she cried because of him because as soon as he laid eyes on her, she turned away slightly.

He couldn't stand the fact and she would be so kind as to cry for him.

So without a word, he moved close to her back and wrapped his arms around her small body.

"It'll be ok. You'll be fine." She said to him and they stayed like that until it was time for her to go.

-------------------------------------

"What do you think of me?" He asked her online and she paused at her work, disbelieve fell into her eyes.

"I thought of you as a friend." She lied for she never wanted to let him know how she really felt about him.

"Really?"

"Yeah. Why would you think so otherwise?"

"I don't know."

------------------------------------

"Do you like my friend?" He knew the answer would come up and it was time he had to face it.

He shook his head.

"Good, because I don't want you to hurt her feelings." She said to him, then walk away, leaving him thinking as to why he said that when inside he does like her friend.

-------------------------------------

"If you like her then you better tell her so because she's getting false hope." She type to him on line, can't believe one day he told her this and another day he told her that.

"I do like her a little though."

"So go for her you idiot." She said and not long after, he had dated her friend, while she left to go to another country.

-------------------------------------

He can't take the pressure any more.

After two weeks he left for Japan and she left for her home country, his girlfriend showed nothing of caring for him.

She can't even date him properly as she had to invite her other friends with her on to their first date.

"I think I'm going to broke up with her." He said one day into the phone when she had come back from her trip.

"Why?"

"Because you made me realize that."

-------------------------------------

"We are having problems lately, me and my brother." His sister said one day when she was having tea with her.

"Really?" She bursted out loud before slamming the tea down on to the table.

"I think he doesn't want to be my brother any more." His sister was crying and the girl didn't know what to do.

"Of course he does." She said, not sure of what else to say as her mind was searching for a good thing to say.

"No he doesn't." The young girl said as she bursted into tears.

"Maybe he doesn't..." She said at last and put an arm around her shoulder.

As she thought about it though, he did say once that he might not want to be her brother any more..

--------------------------------------

"Of course I still care for you. She told you that I don't want to be your brother any more?" He was outrage as to why she would do such a thing, and all this time he thought she was his friend, yet she ended up being the witch who wanted to broke up his relationship with his sister.

"She did. But I guess since I'm not your biological sister, you have the right to not be my friend any more."

"No, it's not that. I still want to be your brother." He said and wrapped an arm around her, resting his palm on her arms.

"It's all her fault. She always cut into our relationship just because she likes me, but was too afraid to admit it."

She was just an annoying little brat.

--------------------------------------

"I think I'm starting to like a girl." She read on the online screen. Her heart was beating fast as her mind was racing to all the possibilities.

"Who?"

"I give u plenty of hints before."

--------------------------------------

"Do you like the dolphin?" He said to her as he gave a warm, fuzzy bear to a nearby girl who just joined the club.

She said yes but he was still worry for she didn't smile nor did she cry.

Although he could sense the disappointment on her face.

She had wanted the bear yet he give her a stupid dolphin he had pick up over at the arcade.

"It's ok. I'm fine." She said and left the club.

He wanted to follow her, but he didn't like her so he don't think he had the right to care.

--------------------------------------

"Why do you expect I to still care for you? I had to move on you know. To like someone else better than you."

"So you has abandon me now? Just like all others?"

"No. But I can't care for you any more because I can no longer think of you."

"No, I mean do you still care for me as a friend?"

"Of course, but that's it. I had no feeling toward you any more. You could go to hell for all I care."

She knew it was a little harsh that she screamed over at the phone, but there was nothing she could do.

--------------------------------------

"I stop liking her for some reason." He said over the phone, knowing his feeling had changde.

"Why?"

"I don't know."

But in fact he do know.

If liking that young girl was going to hurt her this much then he doesn't want to like any more.

--------------------------------------

"I'm cold," he said at his birthday party when every girls had already left. She smiled and looked up to those generous eyes. He had his hands on her small shoulders as she was sitting down, enjoying a movie he had put up.

"Well, get a jacket." She said and gave him another big smile, knowing fully well what he meant under that phrase.

"I don't want to."

"Too bad, be cold."

"You're mean. You want me to be cold."

--------------------------------------

"I'm sorry I was being weird lately. I think I' beginning to have some feelings toward you." He said to her, knowing what she is thinking right at this moment. She was silent for a moment and he bit his lips, wondering what she might said next.

"I'm kind of shock," was all she said as she stepped away from him.

"I honestly had a feeling but I wasn't sure." She said without looking at him. His heart was beating fast and he can't figure out whatever he'll do if she said he was being nonsense.

"So what are you going to do now?" He said, barely above a whisper. She didn't say anything at first but just looked at the lonesome sky. The more and more quiet she is, the more he's scare of what she'll say.

"Give me time to think about it." She replied, simply walking on to a place he knew not of. He was about to returned home when she turned around to look at him.

"Did you ever liked me before?" Her eyes were intense and he knew that his next answer might change her view point toward him forever.

"No, I didn't. Until two two weeks when my friends told me about the possibilities. I admit it. I was a jerk."

--------------------------------------

"Our relationship has to in secret ok? I don't want anyone to know about us." He said when they were sitting with each other. She nodded as she understood his point. Although she couldn't help but felt upset that she got no recognition for being his girlfriend.

"Alright, I understand what you mean. I know with my parents and you with your friends and all." He smiled and gave her a sweet peck. At that moment, it wasn't much but she was well satisfied to be by his side.

"I love you," comes out the loving words and she replied with the same feeling.

"I love you too."

She felt a tug at her clothes and opened her eyes to see he unzip his jacket, taking it off to put it on her.

He kissed her forehead as she fell asleep on his shoulder.

--------------------------------------

"The whole day I've miss you . You want to meet somewhere?" They had agreed to not see each other for the whole day and he had been feeling irritated all this time. In the bar, they didn't get a chance to see each other 'till the club closes.

"Yeah, I miss you too." They hugged each other and he felt a surge of happiness coming from within.

"That's why I was bothering you while we were in the bar. I wanted to be with you." He said with all his heart, wanting her to understand how much she meant to him.

"Well, you want to be in secret so that's what you get." She laughed as he joined her, giving her another hug.

"I wanna be friends with benefit." He said, giving her a kiss before reaching into her front jean pocket.

--------------------------------------

"I thought you mean we'll meet at the other building." She can't believe he forgot that they had met over there instead of over here.

"No, I remember we meet here." He said when she ran up to him in cold sweats .Her memory was better than his for she was absolutely sure it was over there and not over here.

"We met over there," she said firmly, crossing her arm  to look the other way.

"Fine, whatever. We'll meet over there tomorrow." He said as they came close to embrace each other.

She knew he would broke to see her being mad at him.

They stay like that the whole time without breaking apart. The truth be told for they both don't know what else to do with each other.

When it was time to go, they exchanged a kiss and both returned home, with her wondering whether this was a pointless meeting...

--------------------------------------

"I got you something," She said to him as she reached in her bag to get the present. He only stood there and smiled when she pulled out a small, black dog, holding a heart that said 'hug me'.

"See? Doesn't it look like me?" The present was nice but he thought that it was a bit small.

How is he going to hold it when he sleep at night?

"I got you something too, here." He then reached into his bag to pull out a small Tigger. On their first date, he had see her holding the thing, bringing it close to her chest and caressing it as if it was her baby.

"Aww, thanks." She said and hugged the little thing. Nothing could compare to her smile, the smile that he loved so much.

"Now give me a kiss." He said, although before he could lean in to get one, she had stopped him.

"Have you ever try a tongue kiss?" Upon hearing her words, he was excited to try, especially on this Valentine's day.

"You want to try it?" He said and leaned in to give her what she want.

They begin not so great, but at the later of the day, they're both getting use to it.

--------------------------------------

"I want to tell you something." He said one day and she was surprised to hear the words coming from him. Just last night he was telling her of how much she made him feel better when the man he hated, his dad, had come back to visit him and is mom.

She didn't believe she did such a thing but she was happy to help him as many ways as possible.

There was a little something she wanted to tell him too.

The thing about them not doing anything as a couple and how much she wanted him to treat her more like his sister.

There are times she thought he cared for his sister much, much more than her...

--------------------------------------

"I'm sorry that I'm not ready to date you." He said and then asked her what she thought of him. The feelings inside of him are all messed up. Now he can't tell whether this is right for him to date her.

Maybe it was not right to listen to his brothers. Maybe it wasn't right to take their advice as to dating her.

"It's ok. I wasn't sure of my feelings toward you either. I mean the feelings aren't as strong as before."

"Others think that we're ready but we are not ready at all." He said and wrapped her closer to his body.

"You aren't the perfect man that I dream of, and I can't tell you everything. You just got to know it ok? You just got to know what I want." Her words hurt and he released her. Just last night, she told him on the phone about the guy she used to like. It had irritated him enough.

"Oh, I'm sorry that I'm not perfect. That I can't be your prince." He said, standing up to looked down on her. She stood up too, now staring straight into his keen eyes.

"You're not good at this thing hmm? You can't ask me what I wanted. You just got to know."

"Oh, how am I suppose to know when you don't even tell me. Is it my fault that you were showing me off like a piece of item? And with all this problems that happen! With you being mean to my sister and all."

"I wasn't mean to your sister. I mean I admitted that I was a bitch last time for trying to break you guys up, but I change now. She is my friend now and I would do no such thing to my friend. You don't trust me?"

"I do, but ever since we've dated. You've been complaining that I wasn't good enough for you, and about your last crush. Don't you know that it bothers me?"

"Well, do you know that I couldn't trust you with all the other girls around you? How am I suppose to know if you were just dating me to waste your time or just because you had want someone, just anyone, for Valentine?"

"You know me. I don't care about Valentine, and beside, I act different when I had a girlfriend. I care for you that's why I dated you, can't you understand?"

"Well, you didn't show me enough proof that you care."

"So that's it then. We had no trust any more."

"I guess we don't."

"You acted different before we dated. Do you notice that?"

"Oh yeah? Maybe this is the real me that you don't seem to like."

She rushed toward the door and slam it close on his face.

As he watched her leave, he can't help but wondered if this was all just a big mistake...

--------------------------------------

"I promise even if we broke up, I will care for you no matter what." He said, arms still around her when they said their goodbye that day. It was almost dark, and it was almost time for her to go home.

"You never know what happen in life." She said and broke the hug. Right now, she felt terrible. Their fight yesterday had made her exhausted and even if they broke up now, it wouldn't matter to her any more.

"No. You know me. I will still care for you as much as I care for my little sister. You just have to come to me though and I will help you no matter what." She smiled, feeling a bit better to his words. Ever since they dated, they have been running into problems, many problems in fact...

Not only did the club members didn't like him with her, even his little sister, who doesn't say so but was jealous of them.

She remembered once how his sister told her that she might know her brother more than her now, and that does nothing but hurt her and her relationship with him.

"I care for you, but not in a relationship...I'm sorry..." was all he said before turning away from her, leaving her perhaps forever.

"It's ok..." was all she said and as she was about to leave, he had come close to her, snuggling her close.

"Love you."
