Star Trek Into Darkness
Yesterday evening, I went to the preview of the new Star Trek movie. I expected a lot, and lot more in return than I had imagined.
It was simply brilliant. The funny dialogues were back, the chemistry between the actors was great, and the overall tension was awesome. Once again, they did learn a lot from watching star wars, mainly regarding the vertical danger.
About the main antagonist: No one really knew what to expect, but in the end, it WAS Khan. But the movie wasn't a remake of Star Trek II, the plot was completely different. There where just some familiar element used, but in a completely new context. So, fellow seasoned trekkers, don't trust anything you know!
Oh, and Leonard Nimoy did make a very short, but crucial appearance. I had so hoped that he would!
So, go watch it! ^^
