i took the level 2 jlpt this sunday.

studied sporadically for three months before the test with grammar exercise books, practice exams and kanji flash cards.

i'm 99.9% sure i passed it.

I think I read somewhere that starting in 2009, they're going to add a level that's between 3 and 2 since apparently the gap was significantly bigger than the gap between 3-4, so maybe you can try for that! I might want to try 1 next year.
