Hello everyone!
You will be shocked about the increase of Travis Japan's appearance in magazines because of PLAYZONE! The 8 of them (yep, all but minus Aran) were featured in Potato, Wink Up, and Duet August 2014 edition, and now they're featured in Dance Square too! I haven't got chance to translate all of them, but here's the DS one for you :)
I'll do this bit by bit--first would be Anigumi crosstalk, and then the otouto-gumi one. There are also individual interviews.
scans as usual thanks to
yoshiko_mama ILU!
Nakada Hiroki x Morita Myuto x Kawashima Noeru x Shimekake Ryuya Cross Talk
Hiroki: The fans who watch Travis Japan in PLAYZONE this year won't have time to even blink!
Shime: Because, in about 75% of the show, there must be someone from Travis Japan appears.
Myu: It's the highest rate of appearance ever. Seems like my weight will be decreasing by 10kgs until the last show...
Hiroki: In the opposite, seems like I'll put on muscles, so I'll be gaining weight by 10kg till the last show (laughs).
Noel: I'm happy that for the first time Travis Japan have our own performance. *in previous PLAYZONEs, Travis Japan has never gotten their own perf, rather they always become the backdancers*
Shime: It's "A.RA.SHI". Last year it became 4U's number, so naturally we'd like to perform it beyond them, right.
Myu: This year would be the last summer show in Aoyama Theatre. The way I pass through from the station to Aoyama Theatre, I won't be walking there again next summer.
Shime: I like my way home.
Noel: There's pedestrian bridge in front of Aoyama Theatre, right. That's my "ROAD TO PLAYZONE". *this is play on words, it's title of a song in PZ*
Myu: I see (laughs). Each of everyone has his own "ROAD TO PLAYZONE", ne.
Hiroki: I already can imagine Noeru cries in last show.
Noel: In every last show, various things come in mind, ne (laughs). Seems like this year it'd be lonely more and more each day.
Hiroki: You can't! Our motto is "Enjoy our live".
Noel: Yes, you're right.
Myu: It's not that I don't understand Noeru's feelings. Hiroki and I appeared since Shounentai's PLAYZONE.
Hiroki: When the first time we appear ed, Myuto's back, who was still little at that time, felt so far away. Why, because I was dancing one, two, three rows behind Myuto.
Myu: Hiroki has grown up too! Your height.
Hiroki: I don't want to be told by you (laughs)!
Noel: But Hiroki's dancing has really grown up, ne. Your sense of stability is perfect.
Myu: Yes! I wanted to say that.
Shime: He also can do difficult techniques.
Noel: About the dance, he can put the group together. When we are confused about something, don't you think "Let's rely on Nakachin (Nakada)."?
Myu: But sometimes his dancing looks like wakame. *seaweed*
Shime: Yes yes (laughs).
Hiroki: That one, do you mean it in good way?
Shime: Rather than "good or not", it makes me think "how you can do such move?". In free dance, or such.
Noel: His free pose is unique, ne. When everyone got to stop and make poses, Hiroki's ones would be so creative.
Myu: He seek for something others won't do, ne.
Noel: In your dance there's a sense of humor.
Hiroki: Thank you~!
Shime: There's only a few people who seek for something funny in his dancing, you know (laughs).
Myu: About Noeru, even when he dances as the same way as we do, there are times when he looks like doing acrobatics.
Shime: His movement is dynamic. He also dances using his expressions.
Hiroki: He's such an actor.
Noel: I realize that I usually do too much when I'm dancing. That's why this year I want to control that.
Hiroki: When we talk about Noeru's weakness, usually it would be "You're too flashy" or such, ne.
Shime: Even so, it's not bad thing, though.
Hiroki: If you can control it, it'd be perfect. Shime's dancing is detailed. Especially in free dance.
Noel: Rather than (shinsai) isn't it (chimitsu)? *shinsai (繊細) and chimitsu (緻密) both means "detailed, delicate, fine". I still haven't found the differences, sorry*
Myu: He can remember new choreo so fast, he's an "now" man (laughs). And also, his stance is broad. Looking at his physique, you would think how to make the movement look big, but I like that.
Hiroki: Since a long time ago, people said Shime dance's "Passionate Dance".
Noel: Yup yup. I really remember a foreigner dancer who taught us before Travis said "Shime has a passion that no one else has".
Hiroki: He said, "Look at Shime and learn" to everyone.
Shime: You really remembers! You're right about my stance being broad. I sometimes get scold because of that (bitter laugh).
Myu: Because sometime you have to match up with everyone. But that's why I love Shime when doing free dance.
Shime: Thanks (shy).
Noel: Shime is really strict even to himself. You're such a serious type.
Hiroki: Okay. Let's talk about Myuto-san.
Myu: Finally! I wonder what would you say~ (laughs).
Shime: First of all, you are tall.
Myu: It's not about dance (laughs).
Noel: In the past, Nakachin was the tallest, and then it was me, but one day suddenly Myuto's line of vision was higher than anyone else.
Hiroki: Without I realize, I'm already under Myuto's inseam.
Myu: How long do you think my legs are!? (laughs)
Shime: Even in choreograph that is already made by someone else, Myuto can easily make it looks like his choreographs. *in other words, he makes his dancing unique*
Hiroki: He always thinks "How to make this looks even cooler?". There are times when he changes the choreographs on his own.
Shime: I thought we'd get scolded, but Travis said "That looks cooler, ne." instead, so Myuto's choreo was adopted. I wonder if it's because he has good sense. No matter how difficult the step is, he makes it looked easy.
Noel: Myuto looks cool each time, doesn't he? But, one day, when I asked "Don't you feel tired?", he answered, "I really do!". I respect Myuto who keeps dancing lightly without showing negative face.
Myu: Well, because, I'm the second hard-working type after Shime.
Hiroki: Don't say it by yourself! (laughs)
Shime: On dance inwhich you can take advantage if you have long limbs, I can't do that, so I feel really jealous.
Myu: When my height kept growing fast, I was confused. Because I have to strecth my arms longer than most people but I don't have muscles. Just as Noeru said, I really easily get tired. But I definitely can't show that to everyone. Why, because I'm a hard-working type.
Hiroki: Because you say it by yourself, people wouldn't be like, "Myuto-kun is awesome~♥"
Myu: Ahaha! I knew it (laughs).
Hiroki: Otouto-gumi starts not to think about us as seniors, ne.
Noel: But, isn't it good? We're buddies afterall.
Shime: They don't say this, but I think they look on us just like a rival. When we're busy, I think they would gather somewhere, have a discussion, and say things like "We can't be losing." or such.
Hiroki: You're right~ *in Kansai dialect*
Noel: Why suddenly you use Kansai dialect? (laughs)
Myu: But it's cute, isn't it? I also want to go back to my pure self just like otouto-gumi~
Hiroki: But in the group, the guy with purest heart would be Myuto though.
Myu: Yup, I knew it (laughs).
Comments are loved. I'll work hard for the ototutogumi one!
