I love writing english papers. I love that every sentence does not have to be logically derivable from every preceding sentence. While writing philosophy papers brings me a certain sense of accomplishment when done correctly, there's no comparing to the joy I elicit from writing sentences like

English papers can be a lot of fun, but I've always found that history classes are more fun than English classes, so if I want something not-science and not-philosophy I would probably tend more toward history. (Or Poli-sci, but that's besides the point.)
