And hailing from the creative side of my brain...
Oh wow, been a while since I drew something, and my imagination was kind of running overtime with some ideas (plus reading Megatokyo convinced me to start draw again). So here's my first piece of proper artwork for months.
Kimiko is a young gothic lolita who spends her time writing poetry, making jewellry and hats, having tea parties and generally just sitting around looking pretty. She is a big fan of the brands Metamorphose, Innocent World and Angelic Pretty, although IW is her all time favourite.
I kind of like giving my pictures a little back story, at least. XD
Well, about the picture itself - sketched using HB pencil on cartridge, like I do with almost all my works, so it turned out a bit smudgy, but the lines are reasonably strong anyway. No shading though, I'll leave that up to when I decide to colour it ("when" is definitely the operative word here XD;). I tried to put a lot more detail into the dress and entire outfit than I usually would, since GL dresses tend to be quite elaborate, especially in the little details. Overall, I like it.
And a question - what colour for the outfit? Burgandy or maybe green?
