Wow...this episode of Special A has me feeling really...stunned I guess would be the word. I'm not sure if it's good or bad, I'm just...shocked.
SA came out really late again. Well, sort of late. It's about the right time for Zero Raws to release their version (which is the one I end up keeping for some AMV possibilities) but usually something else

I agree that the sketchy crayon colour moments are rather annoying though, and I like that the animation has changed (except that Tadashi and Ryuu appear to have gotten haircuts); it does look more "normal" I guess, so I think it's an improvement. I just hope it doesn't get consistantly worse rather than better as the series progresses.
And Yahiro is going to show up next week ^^ (I support your wiffle bat threat.) Hopefully, that gets the series moving beyond the Hikari vs Kei that's been balancing with Kei x Hikari dynamic since the series started.

The animation does look better, I'm just kind of wary of them changing it so suddenly. The characters look really different sometimes. They probably should have tried to make it more gradual. But I won't complain unless it ends up making things look really awkward.
Yes! I was incredibly excited when I saw Yahiro. Now my wiffle ball and bat return to being things I use to play with my dog. Oh, but I'm sure they'll mess up down the line. If certain scenes are taken out of the Hawaii trip, the bat comes out again. But hopefully we can avoid that.

Well, to be honest, this week's animation has improved a little.

Hmm, don't you think that they're trying to imitate Maki Minami's art style? That's what most animators would do if they're adapting the story from a manga, right? Hmm...but it certainly does look too weird. I have to say I like the previous style more. :/
Right? It's like she had a total face change.
They better if they want to keep most of the viewers who have read the manga and is watching the anime for the manga. -.-;

Yeah, that's what I thought. Kei looks more like Kei (except you know, without blonde hair). So I kind of approve of them changing him a little, but it's sort of messing everyone else up because they're getting it wrong.
Well, they seem to be slowly learning their lessons and making changes. People complained about the character designs, so they changed them. Now people are complaining about them changing the aweome parts...so they should hopefully do better now.
