Okay, here comes my long report of the event! Excuse some Finnish side notes, they are there just so I'd remember some stupid jokes (usually just between me and Yami) and translating them in English makes no sense so.
Our ship left from Helsinki at 17.30 and in the ship we met the first famous people of the trip - a Finnish singer Kari Tapio! XD Me and Yami got his autograph and we took a picture with us and him. But that's not important, on to the real purpose of the trip!
I woke up at about... 7.30 Swedish time maybe. I had clipped out some YokoHina laughing from Recomen and I had that as my alarm voice and it was a really fun way to wake up to the day XD They laughed and laughed all over again and every time Yoko almost choked and in the end all five of us (me, Yami, Miia, Milja and Yingzi) were just laughing with them. We got ready and packed up our stuff in the cabin. At 9.40 we arrived to Stockholm and we headed out and took a bus to the central station. After Milja speaking (she's the only one of us who actually could speak Swedish, I understood almost everything I was told but didn't have a clue what to say) to this drunken taxi driver(? XD) who really wanted to help us, we figured it's best to go by subway. Oh Tunnelbana, Sweden's subway, why are you so weird? I didn't get lost in Japan's subway, how can Sweden's be so difficult??
Anyway, after some (long) time, we arrived to our hostel and checked in, left extra stuff to our room and left to look for the Spy Bar, where the event was going to be. We got some company of Yingzi's friends from the UK and everyone just followed me and trusted me that I knew where we're going...
Well, I did know because we found the place! There were already (at about maybe 12-13pm) some fans waiting and some creepy Swedish girls noticed Miia's Massu uchiwa that I bought her from Japan and they were all "OMG CAN I TOUCH IT???" XD Hey, you're gonna touch Massu himself in few hours!
We went to get some food from Mc Donald's and ate in the middle of the street and that wasn't the easiest thing. Later on we had to form some kind of a queue and at about 14.30 or something a black car came and some Japanese guys came out and then the reality hit us; Massu jumped (literally) out of the car and Tegoshi followed him and I was like O___O, shocked that we are actually seeing them. After that we were all norinori and didn't know what to think. People in front of us started blowing soap bubbles which I found annoying because the bubbles came straight to us and I'd prefer not being soapy.
At some point after they arrived but before we got in these Japanese guys filmed stuff for the news. They almost walked past us but we stopped them with Yami ^^;; So they realized we can speak Japanese and started asking us stuff, like where are we from. Oh and then they asked if we can watch Johnny's shows on Finnish TV. When we said no they asked where do we see them then... What were we supposed to answer?? "youtube lol" (which is actually a lie because I don't even watch youtube unless someone gives me a link to somewhere)? XD We just tried to say something like ummm Japanese friends record them for us. That's not really a lie, it's just half of the truth! Then they asked why do we like Tegoshi and Massu and to the end we had to give them a message to the camera. There were a lot of silent moments because we were all WHAT TO SAY but I hope we don't seem too stupid on it! (Maybe we were so stupid they're not going to show us at all.)
Okay, so around 15.30 they started letting us in and everyone was hyped. We climbed the stairs and were told that we can buy the single (and Seishun Amigo that was released in Sweden before) in the next room. I bought two copies of Miso Soup, one for me and one for Renee. Everyone started to read the lyrics on the back of the single because everyone was just so curious about how they really went XD
Then we went to the next room and there was a small stage. Like, a SMALL stage. Seriously a small stage. I hope there will be some pictures of it in magazines so you will see the smallness of the place. The whole room was maybe the same size as our living room! I was worried about everyone getting in to the room but I didn't hear about anyone leaving out so I guess everyone got in. There were maybe 3 or 4 "rows" (they weren't really rows because everyone just went as close as possible so it was just a bunch of people) of people in front of us so we were really close to the stage and I had a good view to it. There was a widescreen TV that was playing footage of the spring con and everyone was so happy to see it. First there was Sayaendou, then Akaku Moyuru Taiyou, Tegoshi's YOU~world is yours~, Massu's Akatsuki (ja meillä oli Yamin kanssa hauskaa taikarumpujen kanssa...) and then their duet, Sunadokei. After that they played Seishun Amigo PV and everyone sang along. I wondered if they thought it was sad that we were singing along only with Seishun Amigo and not NEWS songs XD But no one wanted to sing with them because people wanted to hear the concert versions of the songs!
Then the video ended and people started shouting "Tegomass! Tegomass!" which faded and started over few times. Finally some Swedish guys went up to the stage and told first in Swedish and then in English that they were coming to the stage in a minute and that we're not allowed to take pictures and some other stuff. Then we saw them come out of the side and walk past the fans (oh the lucky ones on that side, we were on the other side) to the stage, looking kind of confused but smiling anyway. I bet they were up there looking at all the foreign people and thinking why the heck do we have fans in Sweden.
So, they introduced themselves in Swedish and that was the first time in my life when I have thought that Swedish is actually an awesome language XD Then they said they're going to sing Miso Soup and everyone was so hyped. They started singing and they were so good and I didn't know what to do, I just stared at the both of them and thought "yabai yabai". They both looked cool, they had nice clothes and Massu had red/pink nail polish in couple nails. During the song Tegoshi waved at us a lot and they both made us wave our hands to the song. No matter how many times I've seen them perform on TV, I was still shocked to see how much emotion they had in their singing. Seeing that couple meters away from me was just awesome. At one point me and Yami made a heart with our hands and I'd say Massu saw it but maybe it was just my imagination.
I don't remember if it was after or before the other song, Hajimete no Asa, when they talked some more. Tegoshi made adorable "haaaaaa"s and everyone laughed. He said "very very interesting" too and it was great. They told us we're all very pretty! They were both beyond awesome. Hajimete no Asa was a nice song too and apparently that will be on the Japanese version of the single. In the end photographers started to take pictures of the boys and us but before that Massu was all "picture okkee? okkee?" to us XD What if someone said no?! They took pictures and everyone did their best to get their hands to the pictures. I don't know if mine is there but if it is you can probaby see my Kanjani8 magical band and know it's my hand.
And then it was over...
But! Ahead was the handshaking event! After some fangirling and omging to what just happened we formed a line to go to the previous room where we had bought the singles. I think Milja went first from our group, and after her Miia. I stared at Tegoshi and Massu shaking their hands and was concentrating on what I was going to say. I didn't know when I should go after Miia and just went at some point, I don't even remember.
Massu was first and I just stared at him as he took my hand and I forced myself to say what I had planned, いつかフィンランドも来て下さい. He was like "eh?" because my words probably sounded like itsukasndlaolhifnalk. I said it again and tried to say it as clear as I could and he heard me this time and answered something like yeah sure! I have no idea what he really answered but the answer was positive anyway XD Then Tegoshi... I said the same thing to him and he was like "もちろん!" then I also said 大好きです and maybe something else but I have no memory what but it was awesome. They were SO CLOSE and stared at me and I stared back and it was crazy that they were right there in front of me (in SWEDEN wtf). Then I went to Miia and Milja and we hanged in the hallway and waited for others and didn't know what the heck should we do. After peeking back to Tegoshi and Massu couple times we decided to go outside and we met some other Finnish girls on stairs and chatted with them a while.
So we thought it was over now outside the building and we were all noooooo but still shocked about what just happened and no one was quite in their senses. We chatted with other fans and talked about what did we say to them and how fun it was. I don't know how long time we were outside but suddenly we heard screaming and we noticed that they're at a window waving to us and trying to open the window which was stuck XD So a bunch of fangirls screamed in the middle of the street and looked up to the window and I bet it looked really stupid XD People were taking pictures and videos and I took one video too which ended being a horror video because you can't see who's by the window so it just looks like some shady people there. And it was dark and people taking pictures with flashes looks like it was lightning. Add there crazy screaming and there, you have a horror video.
They were by the windows a few times and they seemed to enjoy the randomness of looking out to a street in Sweden and see bunch of screaming foreign fangirls as much as we did. We thought that next time they appeared in a window we'd sing them Miso Soup with a bit changed lyrics (mom = Tegomass) but then they never came again. Damn. XD
People started to go home one by one and we decided to go buy Aftonbladet (a newspaper) because there was a Tegomass article there. We went to the closest 7 eleven but there was only three copies left. Three of us bought it and Milja asked if they had more somewhere. The guy who she asked looked at her like wtf why are we running out of Aftonbladet? And why the heck is there bunch of foreign girls who all want to buy Aftonbladet anyway? XD So, since everyone didn't get their Aftonbladets, we decided to go to another 7 eleven and after that to a cafe to eat and drink something. We ended up to a cafe across the street where the event was hold and we of course could see from there if they came out.
For some time we drank cocoa and ate cake in peace. Then I go to toilet and what do I hear then? A lot of screaming and I knew it was a bad time to go to toilet XD Luckily I was almost ready and rushed out of the toilet and I see Yami hurrying to drink her cocoa and then we rush out after everyone and see Tegoshi and Massu across the street standing in traffic lights surrounded by fangirls. Everyone took pictures and they were smiling at us and looked happy but still confused. They weren't wearing enough clothes!!! This is SWEDEN! It's COLD! (Though we actually thought it was warm because it was a lot colder in Finland when we left.) People screamed kakkoii in kind of awkward Japanese and Tegoshi laughed this adorable and funny laugh and we have a video of it and it's beyond awesome XD We watched (or more like listened to) the video like million times in the ship and it was always too funny.
Then they go across the road and we wave at them and say byebye and I'm glad no one went after them because that would've been rude and annoying. I actually had a really stalker feeling already since we stayed there after the event but they didn't seem to think it like that and everyone had good manners so I think it was okay!
So we went back to the cafe to check no one left there anything and then outside to sit to the benches near the place and we looked at the pictures and videos everyone took. The time was about 18.30 (according to the time when Milja sent me the few pics she took on her cellphone) and we knew there was a press conference of some kind starting at 19.30 or 20.00 or something, where people over 20 years old who were on some shady list got in, so we decided to stay there to wait until they come back. We walked around and went closer to the doors in case they'd come from another way.
And so they did. I think it was closer to 20.00 when they came and I remember thinking again that they're not wearing enough clothes XD They posed to cameras and were cute. Tegoshi was in front of Massu so people just shouted Tegoshi's name and Massu was like "あっ、手越だけか" or something along those lines XD Which of course lead into everyone shouting Massu's name too. At some point I shouted 手越~! and he looked straight at me and I waved like an idiot but a happy idiot. That was probably the only time in the day when I even screamed anything at them XD I'm happy I did! So then Tegoshi started shaking people's hands again and I managed to shake his hand again too and Massu's hand went through everyone's (including mine) hand in the line too and then some staff guy was already like COME INSIDE NOW and they were gone again.
We decided not to stay to wait for them to come out again anymore so we left back to the hostel. Yingzi and her friends stayed and got to meet them once more but I was happy already and I thought it's starting to be really creepy if we stay so late XD
Walking back to the hostel (about 3-4km) started to take on our feet already but we were so happy that no one really cared. In the evening we chatted with the other Finnish girls at the hostel, bought something to eat at 7 eleven and used the internet to let out the awesome feelings.
Next day we woke up to everyone's cellphones playing Miso Soup and everyone had seen dreams of Tegomass but me, who saw a weird dream about my high school friend getting married to a guy who was my classmate in elementary school. (I didn't even remember it back then which is why I didn't tell about it, I just remembered it yesterday at home XD) It was raining and we left at about 11.00 to walk to the Gamla Stan (Old Town). We walked past the castle but didn't go in and just walked through the shopping streets. We ate and took pictures of everyone doing "Tegoshi deeesu" pose with a statue that no one even knew who it was XD A bit later we met Yingzi and her friends and two Swedish girls who had left to the hostel when we left. We ate some Italian icecream and after that since the weather was awful we decided to go to the ship terminal already to wait for the ship.
In the ship we watched the videos we had over and over again, did some shopping at tax-free, drank drinks and watched some Swedish (?) dance group performing and lol'd at the music they had because we thought that Johnny's would so sell in Sweden because that's exactly what people listen to there XD And we came up with stupid things like what we should've said to Massu. "Hi! Guess what Massu means in Finnish?? Tummy!! And hassu massu is a funny tummy!!" XD And lol at terassi.
And then we were home. Back to the everyday life. :(
That took me all day!!
