I don't know what I did, I am really hoping nothing and that things just didn't work out for me. I know i"ve already said this but I totally get how you feel. It hurts it sucks. You put into words EXACTLY how I felt last summer.. the whole not being very talented at much but shining at camp. I know that feeling. Then it have it taken away.. it just sucks.

I hope you find an amazing job this summer... or have an amazing time lounging around the pool.. whichever you choose to do.

I heart you very, very much... I hate it when my friends are sad, I wish there was something I could do. There isn't much other than to be a shoulder or an ear.. whichever you may need.

Everything happens for a reason... just keep that in mind. You are an amazing person.. and Kiki lost an amazing counselor. She the one who screwed up, not you.

hey girl,

i just wanted to say that, though i have no idea what is happening with camp etc, YOU DO SHINE at being a counselor and at camp in general! You are incredibly amazing - don't take whatever kiki(or whomever made the decision) decided personally because it isnt about you or your skill its about them and whatever is in their head. You inspired me a lot the summer we worked together and i often think of our adventures and your unconquerable spirit!

I am actually thinking about visiting michigan this summer -- i am working a job that runs two weeks on two weeks off so i am trying to do a lot of travelling and visting folks and i know speeds is visiting notre dame late in the summer so we were chatting about a possible visit to see everybody...i'll keep you posted--

The camp I am working at in Ohio (outside Cincy) would love to have you for the summer. We have a UL position open and training starts monday. Just a thought. You are an amazing counselor, and as Beaks said dont let it get to you! Keep your chin up.

You are fabulous in so many ways! I think that you shine as a person and as a person who works well with kids... so don't isolate your talants to camp... many of those skills are skills that are just part of you and come out at camp but they come out other places too! Sendin' you a big HUG!

Are you still thinkin' about teaching? I hope so! If you want to find something this summer with kids I may be able to help you... I have faith that the real reason you aren't at camp is because you are meant to be/do something else!

Thanks Holland! I am no longer going into teaching, but I have decide to get my psy degree..go on to grad school and get a masters in either counseling or social work, to work with families and children..I still want to work with kids, but to help them in a different way. I would love to work with kids this summer....
