one thing that I learned was to really look for a DJ that will meet all your needs...such as playing only the music that you want played, paying attention to the mood of the crowd, personable etc. Our DJ was awesome and he definitly made the reception that much better. I made sure to tell him exactly what I did not want to happen...no high school dances...where they play a couple fast songs and then play two slow songs...if the crowd is dancing and having a good time...don't just start playing slow songs. Anyway

About you deciding who to ask to be in your wedding party.. go with what you feel is right. Don't worry about offending anyone... we're adults we'll all understand. It's totally your day... you need to choose what feels right for yourself. If someone gets offended because you didn't ask them to be a bridesmaid, then it just shows that you made the right decision. You have different relationships with each of us... we all have different relationships with eachother.. none of our wedding parties will be the same. I know it's a big decision for you to make... but do not stress yourself out about it. Go with what feels right... It will all work out in the end, and your wedding day will be beautiful.. and your friends will be there, even if it's on the west side.. :-P I heart you friend.
