Personal reality check!

I can't think of anything in particular that bothers me, but the "It could be worse!" definitely would piss me off. I know that when I'm sharing my problems, I'm not looking for them to be rationalized away; I want sympathy and empathy and maybe suggestions on how to fix it, nothing more.

The "it could be worse" thing does get a little frustrating after awhile.
Usually, when going all emo, I don't want to hear how things could be worse because it makes me feel guilty for whining.
In those cases, what I need is someone to listen, and a hug.

But there are cases when I'm being all dramatic and a verbal slap upside the head is justified.

Yeah. That one little habit is the only thing I can think of.

Any annoying habits that you have I've grown to love over the what, 5? 6? years I've known you.

As for that 'It could be worse' tick, well sometimes it's good to hear. Don't get me wrong, it is annoying sometime too but it keeps the world from ending on a daily basis. Although I do it to people too, so maybe that's why it doesn't bother me as much. Or maybe it's because when I see your cute, short little figure and you tell me about how awesome your school is, I just have to smile. And not a lot can bring down a smile like that.
