Thanks. I almost hope it can be solved with surgery; that at least is finite. And the surgery to fix what I think is wrong is comparatively mild.

Man, at what point did surgery become the easy way out to me? *boggles*

Yeah, I'm rooting for six weeks in a cast, instead.

Actually, I get it. When my back hurts really bad and doesn't get better for a long time, I end up hoping they find something on the MRI that can be fixed with surgery just so I know it can be fixed.

Well, whatever it ends up being, I hope it's the easiest thing for you to deal with!
