In fact, I've been staying away from FB for as much as possible, for as long as possible, as long as I don't have much in the way of business to do on FB. I've ignored the Mafia Wars invites, the Vampire Wars invites, the Farming invites, the Restaurant invites, etc. I've just been ignoring FB a lot.
As for game addiction, I think I beat most people to the punch when I was addicted to the famous Scrabble game on FB that got pulled because of Scrabble's copyrights, blah blah. I thought, "Oh, good, now I have a REALLY good reason not to play anymore -- I just had my toy taken away from me." It was probably the best thing that could've happened. I wasn't good at Scrabble -- at all. I wasn't really getting any better, I just WANTED TO KEEP PLAYING. And then it was gone, there was no way for me to reclaim it or go back to it. Best quitting strategy ever.
