I'm usually pretty good at delayed gratification. When the iPhone came out four years ago, I drooled, but did not buy it, since I didn't want to switch providers. Besides, I figured, it would be on Verizon in two years, and if it didn't I could consider switching later. I delayed all of a year to get my Android phone. I don't really like the idea of tying myself to a service provider because they offer a phone for a lowered price, so I generally buy my phone outright from somewhere else and just stick the SIM card in. I heart my phone fantastically.

Have you been raiding their App Store?

I have indeed, although mostly I've been restricting myself to the free apps so far. It is obviously way too easy to go overboard.

I am finding this to be the coolest thing ever. I recently had a video chat with my son in Israel, I use it to scan products in stores to see where to buy more, the texting interface is amazing - oh and it's a good phone, too :)
