I support Cablevision's rejection of ABC's rate increases. I do not mind loosing ABC and ESPN because of it. I am glad my cable company is willing to stand up for their customers.

Cablevision thought giving us free on-demand service today would be a nice way to smooth things over after ABC dropped their feed. Unfortunately, upon receiving the email, everyone (myself included) started ordering on-demand movies. This seems to have crashed Cablevision's on-demand infrastructure. My daughter got 15 minutes into "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs" before the buffer emptied and the error messages started popping up.
