One metric of the state of the economy is the number of available parking spaces at the Dunellen train station at 7:00am eastern time. Last year, the number had risen to 27. Last month, it was down to 6. Today, it was 2. This means two things:

1. More people are likely commuting towards New York City, which implies more people are employed.
