oh my god, two posts in one day.

here's a link  which ties together election day and mountain goats concert day on sunday. (not quite the same but seeing the mountain goats was still a pretty freaking awesome concert in a year of pretty freaking awesome concerts.)

I voted today and had to travel to Lillian Tx to find the right polling place. Also, I found another pair of Blue Blockers after trying 3 different Walgreens locations in Fort Worth. It was a successful civic adventure and a sunglasses quest all in one day.

So, Baby Dee is playing at the Modern on friday and I didn't find out until today. The show in she played in February was one of the better shows I've seen this year. I'm going to try and get out of working to go even if it's by myself. I probably won't be able to though and instead I'll spend the night thinking about how work sucks.

Things have been going uphill since I saw a family of raccoons walk past my car, across the street and down into the storm drain by my house. At least for the most part. I think my mp3 player might have finally given up the ghost. The screen stopped working. It would be a good excuse to buy an ipod. We'll see if that happens this week or not. Maybe ( Read more... )
