Well...they're all Japanese for one. I don't know how popular Japanese animation is in the UK.

I'll send you some of my favorites...and you can see how you like it. If you've liked other animation for adults...you'll probably enjoy it. (Not...you know XXX Adult...but stuff with an adult storyline...) After taking Japanese cultural differences into account...it's a lot of fun. At least here in the US...animation is still considered a "children's" medium.

Funny thing is...I GREW UP liking cartoons...and still enjoy seeing stories animated. I watch most of the Disney and Pixar stuff that comes out.

Which reminds me...you need to rent "Enchanted." I still haven't heard if you've seen it or not. Maybe I'll rip my copy and try to figure out how to make it multi-region.

Darker than Black was anime nights violent show for awhile; it was alright; but the overplot didn't make a lot of sense; and kinda dragged at the end ( ... )

I have a suspicion Darker Than Black will get bad. The initial setup...is not what I see turning into a complex storyline ( ... )

mvk.. grab the newest version of VLC and that should solve your mkv issues...

Tried that. (I've called it the "Cone" player for so long...I had to think about it.)

Might be my files then. Perian has been giving me pretty good results. (Actually a little better than VLC.)
