This is in response to a recent forum I read online.  If you're not Christian, you're going to hell. Yep, that's right, God in his infinite wisdom is going to send 5/6th of the world's population go to hell. What about the Koran, which says the only way to paradise is to believe in Allah and Mohammed?

Or the Torah, which designates YHWH as the most powerful god (this is before they denied the existence of other gods)?

Or the Baghavad Gita when it states that the only way to reach nirvana is to follow Krishna?

Or whatever batshit craziness the Scientologists are trying to sell me?

You mean they all claim to be the "only way," and they're all mutually exclusive? That can't possibly, logically, be true. What should I believe?!?!

You should believe that all religions were created by man to try to explain the unexplainable. People mean well until fundamentalism gets involved. To me, trying your best to be a good person, not infringing on other's pursuit of happiness, and helping when you can is what it is all about. I don't really need the threat of losing love from a mystical zombie, enchanted elephant, or jolly fat guy. Granted I'd hate to disappoint the fat guy. He seems so genuinely happy. Bet he'd be fun to have a few beers with.
