Life is a Beach

We went to the beach this past weekend with Stephen and LK - we had a great time! I'm afraid this entry will be fraught with cliches, but I can't help it - it's the beach, in the summer, and it was all the cliches you would expect of a teenage road trip to the beach - posing with statues, drinking on the beach, chicken fights in the pool. I know

That was so 2 months ago. You talk about me not updating in a while. I've updated at least a quarter dozen times since you posted this.

I'm glad you had so much fun at the beach. You never did tell me your thing about the ocean. I hope you'll still tell me sometime.

Since I'm writing anyway, I'll publicly ask you: what was that xmas gift you guys were going to get me back when. The one that would have been perfect? It's been nearly 2 years, and I won't even be in the same state as you come this xmas. I just realized that that means I'll also miss your birthday. I need some good karma to offset both of those.

Ducks. We were going to get you ducks - but then you moved in with us, and we couldn't have ducks, then you moved into an apartment. At last, no ducks. But it was the thought : )
