The Winter Wrap-Up

At times it feels as though winter has lasted forever, at times I can barely remember the green grass and flowers, the warmth on my skin. I know those sweltering days exists, that they will be upon us in due time, but when the frosty days chill me to the bone, as it often has these past few months, comfort seems a foreign concept

If I forgot to wish you a happy birthday, I'm sorry I'm an asshole. I didn't forget it was your birthday, but I don't remember emailing or anything so it's quite possible I forgot that detail.
I did, however, send a little tidbit to my parents' house, hoping it will get to you and David. Maybe you can call my mom and meet up, or call Matty and hang out.

I can't remember if you did or not, but no problem! I know everyone gets so busy around the holidays I don't hold them to it. I know you love me anyhow : ). Did you send something since the things we'd already picked up - the shot glasses and scarves and stuff? We got those soon before Christmas, so I didn't know if there was something else we need to get.

Love you! I can't wait for you to get back stateside, just 3 more months!

The shot glasses etc were for the Christmas before last, though I imagine they got to you way, way late. This time I sent just a small treat...I didn't really do any shopping since I didn't much feel like Christmas this year. You can imagine, you know the details. But you do have this one thing there. I hope you like it. =)
