It is very sorrowful how love can cause this in us. I relate very much. "Holding the wound open until it bled again" that line! Dark poetic beautiful and painfully true!

I'm liking the way you handle the cadence here - that is, how you go from using short lines, to longer, more emotional lines, to the sweet lines. I mean, that's love for you, right? :P
