That was very cute. Loved how Merlin was explaining how the door just happened to be blasted away from the cell and how these things just happen to Merlin so much. Well done.

Thank you for this! The end of the episode just annoyed me to no end that neither Arthur nor Uther tried to figure out exactly how Sigan had been defeated and only Merlin was coincidentally there.

Yeah. It's really reaching the point where you begin to think Arthur is an idiot for not noticing. On the plus side, this frustrates so many fanfic authors, you get lots of nice fic where Arthur finds out... like this:)
