New Story Up on the Interwebs
"Everyone Loves A Hero" is on the Daily Science Fiction homepage today. It's my second flash story (Everlasting was the first) for them - I'll be interested to hear what you think.

Last night I finished up a favor for two friends, A.C. Wise and Berni Mojzes, editors of the Journal of Unlikely Entomology. A while back, at the fundraiser for L.A. Banks, they mentioned needing someone who loved footnotes. That would be me. (check the thinky space if you doubt it.)

Brain short-circuited due to weather
I don't even know what is going on outside my window. Giant teacup sized flakes. I suspect there are cats on my roof killing a pillow, just to mess with me.

A friend decided it was time for me to get out of the house for a bit - and took me to see "Let me tell you about a dream I had" - Such a cool installation. If you're in Philly, you should see it in person, because my photos stink. Dreams & Inspiration post over in the thinky space.

The Thing
I've had the amazing experience of connecting with people, both off and online, where I realize that I do have people - but never so many at the same time. If I could spend all my time doing what I did last week, and still have my family and my friends, I would be a happy camper.

Hello, LJ. We've been strangers lately. I mostly post thinky stuff over on wordpress, and I'll probably continue that, but the concept has been introduced to me by @alecaustin that I could port links between the two, so I'll be experimenting with that a little. Soon! Also, more actual posts!

Writing while sick induces Caroline Ingalls guilt
