So, let's recap:
August 6, 2010, my maternal grandfather died, leaving Lawyer Uncle (who's still unemployed) as executor of the will.
- He left Panhandle after the funeral, saying he intended to return the next week.
- He has yet to make any trip back up to Panhandle.
- He has yet to file the will in probate court.
- In short, he has yet to do jack shit.

On the one hand, I expect that Preacher Uncle will say no, because it's Lawyer Uncle's job to handle it and this and that and the other hem and haw. On the other hand, I know from previous conversations that Preacher Uncle will at least consider saying yes, because Lawyer Uncle's sitting on his ass doing nothing while the property sits unwatched, untended, and deteriorating by the day. So we'll just have to see.
