I'm sorry. I know you must feel sad. I know what it's like to miss out on a big opportunity. When Ellen still had her sitcom, I wanted so bad to go to CA and see a taping of her show, and I just couldn't do it.

But... sometimes better things come along, or at least a fair substitute, or it works out better after all that we don't get what we want. Sometimes it would end up being a regret if we had gotten it. I know all that's small comfort now.

tonight i plan on taste-testing the hurricane ike recipe i invented. so, if it's any good, i'll send you the recipe so you can have a GOOD SILLY time. come that day i'll probably be drinking it too, but for a different reason! :D hee hee
