winter wonderland

I woke up this morning in a chilly bedroom in Connecticut, rejoicing in my warm wool socks. The world looked fuzzy until I put my glasses on, revealing the fuzz to be thick white snowflakes falling in front of the dark pine trees. I should note that it's just a postdoctoral research job (like a 3-year thing that doesn't pay as well as one might hope), and thus doesn't really say much about Harvard's opinion of me.

But I am still swayed by its name. Haaahvahd. Hm.
