Mmmm I ate up the first five minutes of the finale (HEY LOOK AT ALL THE COSPLAY!! *leap attack*)
As for the rest
It's odd I mean I know RTD was all END OF THE WORLD BOOOOOOM too... with planets moving all.. but I just don't know how I feel about this season
I mean like the bringing everyone together bit? Kinda cool but I didn't really buy it -.-
And what was the point of the Cyberman that was left behind in bits?
I liked the rory bit, I even liked how it was one big trap (although I did have flashbacks to the Dalek eppy with their robot... "remember your human! your rory" I mean... I know this season has been a reiteration/remember thing but still....
Was happy that I sorta called the doctor being the thing trapped in Pandorica... it was getting fairly obvious by the time they locked him up- It was the constant battle of "....it's the doctor in the Pandorica... but how can the doctor be in the pandorica? Two doctors? does that cause it? why? ......." when everyone showed up and looked at him I was like "oooooh you STICK the doctor in the pandorica... I get it ^^"
Admittedly... I'm less tense then I was with end o' the world.. cuz... well.. everythings POOF- River went boom in the Tardis (although my fangirl nearly died with her this eppy. What with her being a female Harrison Ford (What do you get when you cross Indiana Jones and Han Solo and give him a sex change?)
But still... I'm sure it'll work out... but I kinda have that worry that I did with Lost... they made it work out but I'm still not sure how I feel about it kinda thing -.-
Next week will tell us I suppose...
Anyone else still get that rushed feeling? Parts? I don't know that I approved of all the chitter chatter that went on when trying to save the world... I htink I preferred the Doctor when he let people get moopy/upset/emotionally unstable over actually talking with them about it and ignoring the fact the worlds gonna end in THREE seconds...
On a whole though... somewhat satisfying eppy... I think...
Meanwhile given my current location I finally picked up the first book in the Charlene Harris series
Cuz... ya know...
25 year old girl stuck in little town Louisiana whose only dated a handful of times?
While I still dunno how I feel about them, I figured if there was one time in my life I could connect with her and want a Vamp to walk out of the Bayou and confess his love... now might be it.
....But oddly enough it's not the vamp that I'm really fond of
And yet I like the shapeshifter.
'cause nothing could beat her waking up in bed to stratch the collie and have Sam ready to cuddle next to her like a puppy nude.
Honestly. I just... like him. Which is REALLY weird for someone who 9 outta 10 times always prefers the vamp... In this case though the shapeshifters just more fun ^^
I'm liking the books... some... it's a bizzare cross between Anita Blake and Twilight in my opinion- note... my opinion... You have the vampy infatuation but you also have a setting far more like Blake that includes never ending strength from biting your vampy and the mystery aspect. They're not by any means on my favvy shelf- but they're different I'll give you that.
Fried green tomatoes with a side of Vampire?
So yeah ... s'wierd mix..
