That was lovely, dear. I love the take on The Empty House and the way you've worked it in BBC!canon - though I am quite disappointed that John didn't faint like Watson did, oh please, that would've been hilarious - yet their meeting is sweet and sad and quite beautiful. I like the idea of John smoking, don't really know why - maybe because I love seeing them smoking in ACD!canon.

I considered it XP for half a second-- and admittedly Sherlock starting to undress John and stuffing brandy down his throat was tempting...

But I didn't want it exact, and I wasn't certain this John would pass out yah?

This way I still got brandy

*scowls at long fics* the problem with them is by the time I get to the end it seems travesty to have some over the top grab you and throw you against a wall XP damn fleshing out characters.

Thanks!! Mary was irking me when I was going over possible ideas because I do like Mary, and I do like the idea of John marrying her, but I simply couldn't figure out how to work it in with my John/Sherlock loving side.

The idea exploded and then exploded again and I couldn't resist with playing with some of the ideas.

And I couldn't resist the temptation. It fit-- so I figured I'd try to be stealthy and break it up. Happy that it worked though!
