Baby Steps

Feb 02, 2006 08:36

Last night I "ran" the stairs in my house for 12 minutes (my stoopid athsma wouldn't let me make it to 15). Oh well, I was happy I could do 12 minutes of jogging walking! My quads can tell they had a bit of a workout.

My kitty thought I had gone crazy!

My knees feel great - they were hurting yesterday and today? They're not hurting at all!

I hates the asthma...that's the biggest reason why I don't run, that and bad ankles. ~lol~

Go you!

I'd be worried I'd fall down the stairs, even though I haven't done that since the day of Stag's Con... ;-P

It was too cold last night - I wanted to stay warm. Besides it's easier on the knees and hips running on the wood floors than on asphalt or concrete.

I guess "kitty krazies" are different!

Yep, give it some time. In college I ran 3 miles a day, I dream of getting back up to a mile a day!

I'm trying to get to the point of *almost* needing the inhaler and then backing off to build up my lungs. Probably talking on the cell to Conn-dawg and ferox35 while doing the stairs wasn't a good idea.
