What the Hell Trinidad?
I'm fed up. I really am. You Trinidadians out there are to blame for my current state of teeth-grinding anger. You. Every man, woman, child out there, YOU are to blame. Why? you may ask. Why are you to blame for the state of a country where millions are wasted on a handful whilst the majority suffers and have to resort to eking a living out of the most meagre of situations?
Because you, by action or inaction, are to blame for the current state of the Government, and the state of the country. You with your "It won't affect me" smugness. Sitting there, corking your ears to the cries of the public. Comfortable in your little bubble. Your antisocial outlook on life. Your "What's In It for Me" attitude. Wake the hell up!
Year after bloody year its the same sad story. And we as a public seem to be the most ignorant jackasses around. Because election after election, they bandy around words like "unity" and "Racial harmony" and lick you down with a ten days and all of a sudden, they are your saviours and you would do anything for them. You mindless sheep! You cause one such as myself to renew and reinforce my hate of society every time you do so.
And what about you who DON'T vote? Then you, my educated jackass, are as much to blame as the poor enchanted fool who goes to cast his vote for the current crapaud-in-power. You sit there saying "Oh I can't vote because I don't have faith in any political party". Then make your voice heard. Open your maw and crow from the rooftops. But no, you sit there, in your islated shell whilst the same old dead-horses return to office for the umpteenth time to steal YOUR tax dollars. Then you have the frigging AUDACITY to complain? No, take it, ent daz what we like?
We LIKE it when we put someone in power and they rob us, while our parents struggle to make ends meet, struggle to send children to school, our grandparents struggle with the bare minimum a human being can subsist on, "graciously" doled out to them by the fat, bloodsucking ticks that we call a "Cabinet". We sit there while our "Esteemed" minister for Finance tells us she's not guilty of Insider Trading whilst, on the contrary, it is OBVIOUS to anyone with a Form 2 Education that you are lying through your (much extended into an overbite) teeth. All the while, our smug Prime Minister sits there with that idiotic grin on his face like the cat that caught the mouse, telling the public he has FAITH in a BLATANT criminal to run the finances of our country. Of course he has faith in that ole teef. There ain't no BIGGER ole teef in Government than himself. Project Pride? You HAVEN'T heard of it? Go look it up. Biggest failure of Mr. and Mrs. Manning to date (with the exception of their two children of course, but lets not be picky). Brian Lara Stadium? Well OBVIOUSLY you remember that since it's still in the news. What about the Jet that Jackass-in-Prime has bought and has hidden away from the public eye so we won't kick a fuss about it. Oh yes! It HAS been bought! Smelter Anyone? Yes they ARE going to build a Smelter REGARDLESS the impact on the environment. Basically, he's telling the whole country "Frig you, I make my money, and I ruin the country, so what? I can if I so wish because you put me here."
But we HAVEN'T put him there. he is there because people do NOT come out to cast their vote. People do NOT make their voices heard. people do NOT complain loudly enough about the way the Government bullies and mistreats the small man. Chinese Workers? What Rights do they have in our country? NONE. They are a little more than Slaves. A Brilliant Plan Mr. jackass- in- Prime. Commendable. Use the cheapest workers in the world to get your pet-projects finished within a reasonable time. Meanwhile us Trinis will sit here and starve, while mumbling incoherent hate for the Government that is forgotten come Election Time thanks to a little Rum and Roti Politics.
Wake the hell UP Trinidad. You want a man who has NO shred of integrity running this country? You want a total and utter jackass like this as our Executive Prime Minister? Wake the HELL up. Get him the HELL out of there. Please. The future of this Beautiful, Wonderful country lies in your hands and your hands alone. You are but one person, but one by one we stand together, and together we make a difference.
