oh...and i got Harry Potter the second it was released, and i finished it three days later.

not the best, but very good. and incredibly sad. i cried. alot. like a little girl on depressants.

I cried for the last three chapters also - pretty much from when they got to the little island until ... I closed the book cover.

i KNOW!! its so sad, not really unexpected, but very sad. its the biggest betrayal i could have ever thought of. it was just...i couldnt believe that after everyone trusted him, i honestly thought that Snape was just leading Bellatrix and her sister on...

I really thought Draco would have ended up being the one who died. Especially after all that shit at the beginning - the vow - I thought that Bellatrix would have off-ed Draco, just to piss off Narcissa and Severus.

Oh, but for the record - what pissed me off more than Dumbledore - WHY THE HECK CAN'T HARRY HAVE A GIRLFRIEND? Does Harry not remember that the most powerful magic comes from love and that in a time like this he should be all about some Ginny and not be the noble dumbass that leaves her.

i know!!! first he screws everything up with Cho, and now Ginny. he's denying himself happiness. which irritates me. the only thing that bothers me more is the extreme sexual tension between Hermione and Ron thats been there since book 3. they need to get over themselves and admit that they are meant for each other. like, when Ron said "I love you Hermione" i knew he meant more to that than 'i love the way you think' or something like that.

and GAH, i want to know who R.A.B. is!!! damn cliffhangers

we were probably crying our eyes out at the same time... I finished it and then went back and read it again to make sure I didn't miss anything (yeah, I'm a dork) and I cried both times... who would have seen that kind of ending coming... J.K. Rowling is a GENIUS!!!!!

it was so sad...im rereading the entire series just to make sure i didnt miss anything, and then i'll re read Half Blood Prince...and who would have guessed that Severus was the Half Blood Prince?? i was thinking it was Lily, his mom. because Slugworth kept raving about her talents.

and we *yet again* lost another Defense Against The Dark Arts teacher...im predicting Harry takes the job after graduation.

y'know, it never crossed my mind that it might be his mom... what i wonder is if snape really wanted to go back to the dark side or if he only did it because he couldn't get out of making that unbreakable vow w/out looking like a traitor...

my mom has book 1, 2, and 4 in her possession and refuses to relinquish them or i would be doing what you are...

hey, here's something you might have noticed first time around. they make a huge deal about thestrals in book 5 and Harry being able to see them cuz he saw cedric die, but they take those same carriages at the end of book 4 and he didn't see them, even though obviously cedric was already dead... writer's mistake?
