So I was just talking to one of the other women here- she was a music major in college, and didn't end up really doing anything with it. She's an accompanist at a church now. We were just talking about teaching and school and stuff and the more I talked with her the more I realized that I just don't want to do this anymore. I almost started

I'm nearing that point myself.

I'm giving it one last, valiant effort in a Bachelor of the Arts degree. Then, I'm taking some time off from school, maybe a year or so. And then, applying for grad school to pick up education, music or general, what have you.

The only thing that perplexes me is how they would expect me to tackle a senior recital if they don't have ANY sort of voice lesson. Moses said I could feesably do it, but it's +$700 a semester for 3 semesters. Not exactly lucrative. It would just suck if I had to give up studying with Moses, but it might have to happen.

Oh, the irony.. actually FINDING someone that I like working with, and I have to give it up.

I can't tell you howe much I've felt like such a failure.

DUDE! Don't worry, I feel your pain. I'm poli sci and prolly not gonna do anything with it either! If you don't want to do it anymore, no one will think less of you and we will all still love you. No use in doing something you don't want to do. You will be more upset in the end
