The other day in American Literature, a girl performed and spoke about Elizabeth Barrett Browning, and spoke about love. She said we use the world "love" to often in our daily lives, that it grows meaningless, that we should be much more careful with the word love than just saying it to friends and acquaintances

im odd
i love my friends as you would love somone you'd like to spend the rest of your life with.
(mebbeh thats why my relations always suck, casue i treats everone equal, which i guess cant hapen in relation... WOO TANGENT)

I don't think that's odd. I may not love everyone like a lifelong companion, but I do love everyone passionately, and it's gotten in the way of some of my (platonic/friend) relationships too. Some people just don't like it when you love others; it makes them jealous or insecure.
