Why is it called Spring Break...

when all I do is work. I was working at Sonic and at the house the entire time. On the plus side, I got lots of money and my room is kick-ass! On the down side, I did fall pretty badly at work and had to file an incident claim with the company. It hurt for a few days after, but I'm good now. Didn't even get tipped for it, cheap bastards ( Read more... )

Welcome to real life. There is no such thing as spring break when you get older....unless you work as a profesor or teacher, but other than that....no spring break or summers. Just work....work...and more work. Why don't you just go on foot for work from here on out?

Exactly what I say. I worked most of the spring break as well. and both jobs too which meant I still got to drive to the Eastside about 3 times, and then back over here. And, if you couldn't really rollarblade in the first place, then why did you do it for your job.

Yeah, but you get to spend your money. I have bills and rent. And I wasn't complaining; I was making a statement.

About the drive, I used to make that everyday. I still get to make the drive whenever I want to see my family or my friends in El Paso, who coincidentally find the drive too long to bother with visiting me.

Also, I can rollerblade in the first place. People fall. It hurts, and it heals. You of all people should know that.

Yea, I pay bills as well, I guess you didn't know. I was just replying to your statement and the one that Brian wrote. When you're in college, and working, there's not really any such thing as spring break.
Yea, you do make the drive to come to El Paso, and, it goes both ways. And we usually don't hear when you're in town. Even when you're here just to hang out with Francine or whatever. Most of the time Brian and I are so burned out, that we don't drive down the street to get something to eat. We barely have time to hang out with each other. We've also been helping other people with rides, at least find out why we havn't been out there before accusing..And if it's such a hassle to go back and forth, then maybe Utep should've been better, but you chose NMSU, so that's what you deal with.
Excuse me about the rollerblading, the last time you ever rollerbladed you ran into walls. Yea, you fall and it hurts, and I do know that.. I've had much experience with pain....
