I got a fishy! He's a blue-and-white (and pinkish and a bit silvery) delta-tail betta. Now there will be something alive in the house besides me and plants while I'm working! This is a happy thing ( Read more... )

Yes. It was my first beta. The one that took a dive while I was driving and was out of water for 5 minutes and still survived. But in the end he was full of holes and looked like a leper fish.

Aw, he's so pretty, and healthy! He looks much bigger than my betta - but poor Fuji is still regrowing his fins.
What will you name him?

I'm not sure about a name yet! I suppose at some point I will have to decide on one.

Yeah, he seems to be a nice healthy little guy :) It probably helps that the shipment of bettas at the pet store had only been in a couple days, so there were plenty to choose from and they hadn't been stuck in those teeny little containers for too long.
