Now for people who have lived a hard life, was it actually hard?

Or it was it actually just a difficult event to get through?

What is a HARD life?

My opinions of so is that if things only become unbearable and unreachable, then only your life is hard. We are not talking about dreams, entertainment or leisure. We are talking about

True, but some correcting.

We DO gain experience, which is all those random encounters that happen which do not kill us. we all start out with the same number of stat points that do not stay in place all the time, because of the amount of experience we gain later through life.

That's how life shapes all of us and why we have to use different strategies to work through life. Its called working to the best of your advantages and on as little of your weaknesses as possible.

To say life is a game would be best left as a quote, not a true statement. Otherwise, people would just assume they can respawn out of the hospital when they get bloody wasted jumping off the 11th story of their HDB flats, house or whatever.

I agree too, but to a certain extent. Different people have different tastes and different wants they wish to get out of a game. Some like games for the story (like me), some like it for group play (maybe DJ?), and maybe others like it for strategic thinking (perhaps you). So the respective classes employ different methods to the game.

To bring this analogy back, it means that different people have different expectations in life. Players using cheat codes likely represents someone with an inherited fortune and enjoys his life of ease, which makes him happy. Players that enjoy group play are probably the more social people. Strategic players probably view life as a challenge to overcome. Etc, etc.

The goals are different, so a hard life is only hard to the person who thinks it is so.

... i don't have any intelligent thing to fill in here at this moment. but i agree with everyone's statements. what is life? I personally don't think of it as a game but a balance of reality and imaginary. Sorry, my brain isn't working very well now so i can't give a proper reply...
