Blood and Fire: Prologue

Before she died Trell entrusted 15 eggs into the care of the humans she rescued. A year later they hatched. The hachlings were raised by the human survivors and grew to adolesence. As the humans began to faction into tribal groups  the young dragons were quickly claimed as members of the more powerful tribes.

The island is still largely unexplored, the surivors live in a small area of the southern coast. The rest of the island is dominated by Dreamkin who have been flocking there since the flood.

15  years after the flood; Krossos arrived, his presense has prevented warfare between the tribes and he has begun to teach the survivors the secrets of civillization, fire, tools, agriculture, language and magic. He has also been training his children, the dragon hatchlings in the powers of their heritage. Now two years later, he has certain tasks that he wishes them to undertake...

The characters for the Prologue are 400 points each with a maximum of -105 points in disadvantages.
They must take the Adolescent Dragon (SM+3) Template for 327 points.
Their native (and only available) language is Trellish (besides their inborn native Krossian). Trellish has no written language yet so they must take No native written language [-3]. They get CF:Covenant Islands as native.
The only skills available are those that were known among the extremely primitive (early TL0) flood survivors or those taught by Krossos.
The PCs may have learned any of the following from Krossos:
  • Any skill available to mid to late TL0 societies
  • Krossian Runic Magic (If the dragon has Magery 1+)
  • Bardic Magic and Enthrallment Skills (if the dragon has the Bard Talent)
  • Smith Magic (if the Dragon has the Artificer Talent)
  • The Dragon Heritage powers (if the dragon has the appropriate Talent at 2+)
  • No more than 2 points in TL1 skills.
Also, prior to Krossos's arrival a dragon could have become a Shaman with Spirit Powers.
