actually, it's interesting, because DC and LA have never rated terribly high on my personal "cool cities" lists. Of course, never having been to either of them, I'm hardly basing that on any rational thought process. Now I'm going to have to road trip to DC, and I think I might be going to a tap festival in LA this summer, just to see if they live up to the hype... ;)
