The characterization was especially hard in some parts. Like, when Shawn is comforting Katey...it seemed more serious than usual, but I didn't think he would joke when she was upset like that. Dunno.

Oh I had a question...the stuff about the "choice" - was that okay? I wasn't sure if it was over-repetition, or the good kind of repetition that tied stuff together. I was rushing, so I kinda just pasted the end on as soon as it came to me...

I could totally see him saying that. You write Shawn and Gus so well. And the Miami Vice marathon, loved it!

As for Shassy...I think you've fully converted me into shipping them. The "you're so sexy right now" quote from Gus Walks Into a Bank is already my text ringtone. When Shawn accepted the date from Katey and Lassy heard I just wanted to shake some sense into Shawn. And when Lassy told Shawn he loved him...I loved that part.

lol, i would do that when i read stories, but i'm always afraid of accidentally seeing the end of the story.

the statue was at Todd's house b/c he was the one who robbed Sam. he stole it from Sam's house, not Katey's. he was just stupid to not get rid of the evidence - he didn't think he'd get caught.

the idea you gave me that i remember was katey's actions at the beginning of this chapter. i realized i hadn't had her react enough yet. erm...don't remember the others atm.

heh. well, a lot of ppl read but don't comment. and i post my stories on ffnet and several LJ communities as well.

you never really said what you thought of the story overall... did you like it even though it ended with Shawn/Lassiter? i'm a sucker for happy endings - i can't help it :P

ha ha will I skip down to the comment bar so I wouldn't see any of the story, then go back to the place I was reading. I normally wait to the end of a story...but I got so excited over my though...I didn't want to forget it...so I rushed to the bottom

Hmm, I wonder if other people liked the first part better...eh, probably not. Most of the ppl who read are rabid Shassy shippers like myself. :P I know a lot of ppl were really mad at Shawn for the stuff with Katey.

Oh, well I wasn't really trying to do a real case. I just had it there as background so that I could have a reason for bringing in Katey and Sam. So yeah, it was a pretty simple case. And I think I didn't have as many funny lines b/c this chapter was more angsty. Eh, don't feel bad - I'm always interested in your opinion!

Aw, what fun would fanfic be if we didn't mess with the natural order of things? :P

I was trying to think of how I could write other stories with them being in more of an open relationship, but I feel like they would all end the same...
