After years of having a LiVEJOURNAL account just to post to friends' blogs, I'm trying it out as a blogging tool for myself. I have a longtime blog at another provider, which has been inaccessible for several days now. I've been trying all that time to get an answer to my questions, but it's been to no avail. So here I am, making my first real post

Thank you for that wonderful welcome, madblonde! I have to set aside some time to learn more about all that it offers, but I'm looking forward to it.
