So I'm at my interview in Springfield sitting in a senate hearing room while 15-20 people ask me terrible questions and drill me on not knowing the answer right. So then they ask if I know who the 4 leaders are in Illinois, the 4 tops if you will, and I do so I proceed to answer. "Michael Madigan, speaker of the House, Emil Jones Jr. Senate President, House Minority leader David Cross...." all of a sudden I notice the staffers laughing or acting oddly, all of them. They ask me to repeat what I said. I get confused and ask them to repeat the question. They do so and I proceed "Madigan, Jones, Cross, and Watson" Then they ask what Representive Cross's first name is, I pasue. Then I realize that I had earlier said David Cross. So I reply "Tom Cross.... I said David before didnt I?" "Yes, yes you did" was their reply.

True story.
